Checklist for new DASH Rapid PCR System Customers

This checklist will help you get up and running with your DASHRapid PCR System.

Given the similarities between the DASHRapid PCR System and rapids tests, many customers will be able to self-train using the provided materials.

1. Pre-Implementation
  • Prepare space for your DASHInstrument. Each instrument requires two electrical plugs (one for the instrument and one for the printer). If you have multiple DASH instruments, provide at least 2” clearance between instruments. A power strip might be needed for multiple instruments
  • Make sure you have your Wi-Fi password or ethernet cable (if using the Portal)
  • Identify Portal Admin and determine staff members to train and enter into the portal
  • Receive your initial order for cartridges (swabs included) and controls
  • Schedule your installation and training date
  • Ensure the DASHSARS-CoV-2 & Flu A/B Test is setup in your EMR (if needed)
